Payment and contract
30-day trial
30 day trial with full scope, no payment details. Afterwards the board is frozen (readable), after another 60 days it is deleted.
Payment
Credit card or SEPA direct debit, monthly or yearly. Purchase on invoice with 14 days to pay for yearly billing.
Company size
Company size is self-declared. From 110 % of the band's registered profiles we ask for an upgrade; after 30 days no new profiles until it happens.
Upgrade and cancellation
Upgrade any time in the customer portal, prorated. Cancel any time to the end of the term, no call needed.
Referral
Referral link: when a referred board starts paying, you both get one month credited.
All prices in euro. No VAT is charged (Austrian small business rule, § 6 (1) 27 UStG). USD and GBP at the same figures, CHF like EUR.
For comparison: Microsoft Viva Employee Communications and Communities costs €1.73 per user and month, about €433 for 250 users, and only licensed people take part. Knowhand has one price for the whole company, with deadlines, closure and archive.
Questions about pricing and contract
What happens after the 30 day Knowhand trial?
The board is frozen: readable, but no new requests. Choosing a tier continues immediately. After another 60 days it is deleted; you can export everything before that.
How does Knowhand count employees for the pricing tier?
Self-declared at purchase. We count registered profiles, not people in the company, and only get in touch from 110 % of the band.
Does Knowhand offer discounts for associations, schools or non-profits?
No. There is one price per tier and the founding price for the first 30 companies. Special prices would need sales, which deliberately doesn't exist.
Can we buy Knowhand on invoice?
Yes, with yearly billing and 14 days to pay. Monthly billing works by card or SEPA direct debit.
