The help board for colleagues: whoever needs help posts a request with a deadline; whoever can help clicks "I can help"; you sort it out directly, mark it as solved, and it stays findable in the archive for everyone.

Sign in with your work email. If there's no board for the domain yet, you create it and become the admin. Colleagues with the same domain join automatically; invitation links cover everyone else.

In Outlook: open the calendar, choose "Book with me", create a page, copy the link (included in all Microsoft 365 business plans). Google Calendar: create and share an appointment schedule. Calendly and others work the same way.

Without a password: with a link to the work email address or with the company Google account. The email also contains a code you can enter on the sign-in page instead of clicking the link. Sign-in needs no calendar, mail or directory permissions.

Not yet. The link by email works with any work address, including Microsoft 365 mailboxes. The page for IT admins lists what your IT team should allow.

All emails come from board@knowhand.com, signed with DKIM for knowhand.com. Allow the address or the domain knowhand.com in your spam filter. Sign-in links and codes are valid for 60 minutes and work once.

All members see all requests, attachments and the archive, and the profiles with name, email address, photo, team, role, summary, categories, tags, booking link, contact preference, capacity and absence, where filled in. Questions and pointers are visible only to those involved, the thanks counter only to the person. Admins see metrics only as totals from ten members on, never values per person. What the board export contains is described on the privacy and works council page.

If you have a works council, Knowhand needs its approval. Use is voluntary. There is no leaderboard, no ranking, no per-person response times and no last-online indicator. The works council template for Austria and Germany is available as a Word file, everything for the review in the review pack as a PDF.

It's off by default. If the admin switches it on, it turns free text into a suggestion for title, summary, category, tags and deadline. The entered text and the board category names are sent to Google Vertex AI in Frankfurt or to the company's own endpoint; nothing is applied without a click.

30 days with full scope, no payment details. Afterwards the board is frozen (readable) and deleted after another 60 days. Prices: 129, 299 or €499 per month billed yearly, or 149, 349 or €599 billed monthly, depending on company size; the first 30 companies pay the founding price for 24 months.

We deliberately don't offer SCIM, certifications or contracts on your paper. SAML is not built in; on request we look into it, without a commitment. Knowhand is a self-service product for companies with 20 to 500 people, without sales and without enterprise contracts.

Every member exports their data in the profile and can delete their account. The admin exports the whole board as JSON and CSV and can delete it with a 14 day notice.

On purpose. The board runs under your company's logo, colour and name, in the interface and in every email. Knowhand appears in the footer.

No. The channel stays for conversation, the wiki for documents. Knowhand gets the questions that need someone with experience.
